The Substance Abuse Reduction Alliance, also known as S.A.R.A., is a community coalition working to reduce and prevent substance use among students in grades 6–12 throughout the City of Miramar.

S.A.R.A. was built on the belief that prevention starts with community. By bringing together youth, families, schools, law enforcement, healthcare professionals, businesses, faith-based organizations, community leaders, and local government, the coalition develops prevention strategies that respond to the needs of Miramar’s youth.

Through education, outreach, youth engagement, community partnerships, and access to helpful resources, S.A.R.A. empowers young people to make healthy, informed decisions while strengthening the support systems around them.
