Campaings
Through targeted campaigns, we educate, engage, and empower individuals to make informed choices, while advocating for stronger prevention efforts and support systems. Explore our current and past campaigns to learn how we are making a difference in the fight against substance abuse.
21 means 21

The "21 Means 21" Campaign is a proactive initiative designed to prevent underage drinking and raise awareness about the legal drinking age. As part of this campaign, we distributed 500 informational flyers to parents in the Miramar community, providing important details about the risks of underage drinking and the consequences of providing alcohol to minors. In addition, we launched the Sticker Shock Campaign, which involved distributing 1,000 eye-catching stickers to local retailers. These stickers, placed on alcoholic beverages, serve as a reminder that it is illegal to purchase alcohol for anyone under 21, helping to reinforce the message that 21 means 21. Both efforts aim to engage the community in protecting youth from the dangers of alcohol abuse and ensuring that the law is upheld.
Red Ribbon

The Red Ribbon Campaign is a national initiative aimed at promoting drug-free living and raising awareness about the dangers of substance abuse. SARA was proud to participate in this impactful event at Miramar High School, where we joined students and faculty in supporting the message of healthy choices. Our team engaged students through interactive activities and open discussions, emphasizing the importance of making positive decisions to live a substance-free life. We are grateful for the opportunity to connect with the school community and empower young people to take control of their futures, free from the influence of drugs and alcohol.
Substance Abuse Awareness Campaign

As part of our ongoing efforts to raise awareness about the dangers of substance abuse, SARA (Substance Abuse Reduction Alliance) conducted an informative campaign at Miramar High School, focusing on the growing threats of marijuana use and fentanyl. Our team engaged students through presentations and discussions, highlighting the serious health risks and legal consequences associated with these substances. We provided crucial information about the dangers of fentanyl overdose, the misconceptions surrounding marijuana use, and the impact both substances can have on physical and mental well-being. By empowering students with knowledge, we aim to equip them with the tools they need to make informed, responsible decisions and protect themselves from substance abuse.
