After applying this knowledge, we mapped Miramar City Hall to pinpoint “hotspots” and analyze how secluded areas like the parking garage support vaping. We also examined how retail access from smoke shops and social access at school and parties contribute to the problem.

To combat this issue, we designed an educational workshop to inform both youths and local officials about the danger and harm of vaping nicotine.

We then assigned each person in our coalition to a specific task to help put the whole workshop together. Working on this project gave us a clear guide that

we can easily use to help our own community.

Attending the CADCA convention was really impactful because we made a strategy to fight youth vaping in Miramar.
